This past weekend we celebrated 25+ years of friendship by expanding our group and creating memories. For those of you that know us, there are 2 groups of friends that dominated the streets of Eagle Rock! One more than the other, but we won’t get into that :). We were all actually friends, but needed someone to compete with when it came to dance-offs, basketball, pimping… whatever… we needed to have some competitiveness but wanted to have it among friends and not have any ‘hard’ feelings or major retaliations. It was all in ‘clean’ good fun.

Some of us have known each other since first grade, or even kindergarten, but most of us met in high school. The two groups I am referring to (of course) are DBS and HBR. Since one of our brother’s (Roland aka The Feather) passing, we seemed to grow closer and bond more (the Feather’s favorite pastime) and decided to merge our families and create something bigger and stronger.

Introducing “Day Ones” or Back To Day Ones. This was our first get together since Rolands passing and we wanted to do it right. Something the Feather would have been proud of.
